High Capacity
Spiral
Conveyors
High Capacity Spirals are in
response to our customers’ need to
go higher and handle more weight.
They can handle double the weight
capacity of our regular spirals at speeds
up to 200 FPM.
Optionally these spirals allow loads to
enter or exit the High Capacity Spirals
at intermediate elevations. New special
induction and divert conveyors have
individually adjustable conveying surfaces
to match the spiral pitch, assuring a
smooth and reliable operation.

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE SHOW IS CLOSED
All good things must come to an
end, and MODEX 2018 is no exception. Every day at 5 p.m. ( 3 p.m. on
Thursday), MODEX will close its doors
for the evening. What to do then?
Here’s an arbitrary selection of special
events taking place in and around the
MODEX show’s venue in mid-April:
; The Atlanta Hawks National
Basketball Association (NBA) team will
hit the court to play the Philadelphia
76ers at the Philips Arena on Tuesday,
April 10.
; The Atlanta Opera is performing
“Out of Darkness: Two Remain,” a
moving two-act opera centering on
Holocaust survivors visited by ghosts
of their past. Tickets are available
for Sunday, April 8, and Thursday,
April 12.
; On April 10, the Center Stage
Theater will host Orchestral
Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), a pioneering synth-pop group. The concert
will feature music from the group’s
; Midtown’s Top Golf entertainment
complex offers virtual games until
12 a.m. Monday through Thursday
for golf enthusiasts. Players hit a ball
embedded with a microchip into targets ranging from 20 to 240 yards
away. A rooftop terrace, food and
beverage menu, and 200-plus televisions round out the experience.
; Come face to nose with one of the
world’s most feared predators in the
new temporary exhibition “Sharks:
On Assignment with Brian Skerry” at
the Georgia Aquarium. The exhibition
includes large-scale images and vid-
eos that National Geographic explorer
and photojournalist Brian Skerry took
during his more than 10,000 hours of
underwater explorations. The aquari-
um is open 365 days a year, but hours
of operation vary. Updated hours can
be found on the organization’s web-
site, www.georgiaaquarium.org.
; Explore more than 30 acres
of botanical bliss at the Atlanta
Botanical Garden, located adjacent
to Piedmont Park in Midtown. Visitors
can explore the Fuqua Conservatory,
Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, or the
lovely Anne Cox Chambers Southern
Seasons Garden. The site is open until
7 p.m. daily Tuesday through Sunday.
