All good things must come to an end,
and MODEX 2014 is no exception. Every
day at 5 p.m. ( 3 p.m. on Thursday),
MODEX will close its doors for the

“Race.” In this play by David Mamet, two
high-profile lawyers—one black, one
white—are called to defend a wealthy
white client. When a new legal assistant
gets involved in the case, the opinions
that boil beneath explode to the surface.

“Red Badge of Courage.” This adaptation
of Stephen Crane’s famous novel combines puppets, animation, and live
actors to tell the story of a naïve young
Civil War solider who first flees from and

fare before taking in Shakespeare’s classic tale of the fiery and comedic romance

perform at Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre.

“Fire Angels.” This score by Mark Grey was
written for the 10th anniversary of 9-11.
For the first time, it will be performed by

“Go West! Art of the American Frontier.”
This collection features paintings, sculp-
ture, photographs, and Native American
artifacts that showcase the exploration
and settlement of the American West.

“Azalea Season.” Each spring, Callaway
Gardens’ landscape explodes with one of
the world’s largest displays of native and
cultivated azaleas—more than 20,000 of

“American Originals: Norman Rockwell &
Coca-Cola.” This special exhibit presents
paintings by Norman Rockwell that were
commissioned by the Coca-Cola Co. as

“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition.” This spe-
cial exhibit displays 212 artifacts recov-
ered from the Titanic wreck site, histori-
cally accurate room re-creations, and a 3-
