Heavy-duty forklifts: With a relatively short wheelbase and a lifting capacity of
30,000 to 33,000 pounds, Hyster Co.’s new H300HD2S and H330HD2S industrial
lift trucks are designed to combine maneuverability and capacity. The new models
are suitable for applications such as steel manufacturing, the company says.
According to Hyster, the forklift trucks have an excellent outside turning radius,
which makes them good for compact operating conditions.
The models come standard with a Cummins QSB 4. 5 L Tier 4 Interim engine and
a three-speed power-shift ZF WG 161 transmission, which enables smooth shifting,

Technologies Corp. has launched Mobility
DNA, a set of applications, application development tools, and administration utilities for
Zebra mobile computers. These applications
enable businesses to leverage the simplicity of

Stretch wrappers: Liberty Technologies, a
Millwood Inc. company, is rolling out a line of
branded stretch wrappers. The Liberty stretch
wrappers will be available in standard configurations, modified standard configurations, and
custom engineered ones. The family consists
of five series: the Series 500 semiautomatic
turntables, the Series 600 semiautomatic overheads, the Series 700 automatic turntables,
the Series 800 automatic overheads, and the
Series 900 horizontals.
Each series of stretch wrappers is engineered with configurations to meet a wide
range of applications and throughput requirements. These include high- and low-profile
turntable and overhead wrappers, which all
are available as semiautomatic or automatic
machines. Liberty Technologies also offers
custom-engineered designs for applications
where a standard solution may not work.
