You’ve probably heard all about how online shoe retailer Zappos.com revolutionized its distribution operation through automation and an unorthodox approach to talent management. Now, you have a chance to see it first hand. The National Conference on Operations and Fulfillment (NCOF) is offering an onsite tour of Zappos’ contact center as part of its conference program. Executives from Zappos will also give a presentation about their automation efforts.

The NCOF, which is organized for catalog, online, and multichannel retailers, will take place March 24–26 in Las Vegas. The educational conference consists of five session tracks: people management, material handling, executive level, customer experience, and distribution management.
