day learning about the roots of rock, marveling over music
memorabilia from costumes to handwritten lyrics, and
enjoying short films, photos, and concert footage you won’t
see anywhere else. While you’re in town, you Bruce
Springsteen fans won’t want to miss “From Asbury Park to
the Promised Land,” the first in-depth
exhibit about “The Boss” and his music.
Whether you’re looking for a new
shirt to wear to the evening mixer event
or are interested in picking up a gift to
bring home to the family, Cleveland’s a
great place to shop. Want to be treated
to the Saks Fifth Avenue experience and
find plenty of upscale stores in one
mall? Try Beachwood Place. Interested
in a great, all-day shopping experience
with a small town feel? Shop the lifestyle center known as
Crocker Park. Rather peruse one-of-a-kind boutiques and art
galleries? Check out the picturesque community of Chagrin
Falls, the Bohemian chic of the Coventry neighborhood in
Cleveland Heights, the shops peppering the historic neighborhood of Tremont, and the always-bustling Little Italy
(but be sure to grab a cannoli at Presti’s Bakery while you’re
there to, umm, refuel). Or if you’re seeking to score some
deals, head to Aurora Farms Premium Outlets to stock up on
fantastic bargains.
Then, if you still have some energy to go out on the town,
there’s plenty of action after dark. Enjoy a nightcap at
Warehouse District for a glass of cabernet at D’Vine Wine or
a little dancing at Velvet Dog or Sunset Lounge. In Cleveland,
you’ll find there’s no shortage of fun when the sun goes down.
Now you have a new appreciation for the unexpected offerings of Cleveland Plus. Museums, nightlife, halls of fame, art
galleries, parks … clearly, there’s no way you can do it all.
Guess you’ll just have to make plans to come back! ;

turned to pattern and dress as a language with which to
communicate who they are and where they come from.
Learn how the experiences of culture clash, immigration,
and multi-ethnicity in our globalized world have driven
artists to use this visual language to chart their personal
and communal histories.

Ripped from the hilarious headlines of the supermarket
tabloid The Weekly World News, “Bat Boy” is a classic
love story with serious bite. This delightfully delicious twist
on the modern day musical comedy tells the story of a
strange boy with pointy ears, his struggle to find a place
in a world that shuns him, and the love that creates both
miracles and madness. Featuring an exuberant score that
integrates the best of rock, Broadway, gospel, and coun-
try music, this off-Broadway “Musical of the Year” award-
winner is a witty comical confection that keeps both
tongue and fang firmly in cheek.
