Raymond Asset Protection: Regularly scheduled service is essential to maximizing the performance of lift truck fleets. To assist with
maintenance, The Raymond Corp. has introduced Raymond Asset
Protection, a new program that enables facility managers to select
the right service coverage for their operation. The program will
help managers optimize fleet uptime while locking in affordable,
predictable service costs, according to the company.
Through the Raymond Asset Protection program, new trucks
are backed by Standard Warranty Coverage, which includes fork-to-bumper protection for the first year. Powertrain protection is
provided for the subsequent two years up to a maximum of
3,000 hours. Beyond the Standard level, companies can choose
from three levels of added protection: Scheduled Service,
Comprehensive Service, and Optimal Service.
Scheduled Service includes essential inspections and maintenance recommended by Raymond and executed by an authorized sales and service center. The centers perform inspections
and maintenance at specified intervals to minimize major
mechanical issues.
Comprehensive Service offers complete, expert service for
every part of a lift truck—including scheduled maintenance,
parts, and labor—at a fixed monthly cost.
Optimal Service is designed to meet an individual customer’s
specific needs. With consultation from a Raymond sales and
service center, facility managers build a customized program
from a menu of services, including fork-to-bumper protection,
information analysis, and fleet optimization tools.
Raymond Asset Protection is an element of Raymond’s
CustomCare approach, which is designed to optimize warehouse
operations by delivering reliability, maximum productivity, and
lower operating costs through its nationwide network of sales
and service centers. (Raymond Corp., www.raymondcorp.com)
IR Series lift tables: Pentalift
the 1,000- to 2,000-pound load
range. All models feature a 7-
inch low height and provide a vertical travel of 36
inches. Platform sizes range
from 24 by 48 inches up to 48 by 72 inches.
The lift tables feature a self-contained hydraulic power unit
and a reservoir that is filled with oil. They also have pre-wired
NEMA 12 motor controls and a pre-wired NEMA 4-push button
on 10 feet of straight cord from the power unit. Straight toe
guards are suitable for surface mounting.
Options on the hydraulic lift tables include rotating tops, nonstandard platform sizes, a semi-portable design, accordion bellows, a hydraulic velocity fuse, a hinged integral maintenance
stand, guarded foot pedal controls, an up-travel limit switch, and
power units of up to 3 hp to increase lift speeds. (Pentalift

Infor S&OP software: Infor, which provides business application
software, is now offering Infor Sales and Operations Planning
(S&OP) version 1.0. Infor S&OP is an entirely new solution, built for
the unique needs of manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.
Infor’s solution provides capabilities for creating, managing,
and using electronic work flows that address every major stage
in the S&OP process, allowing global teams to gain consensus
and make decisions faster with a higher degree of confidence. It
also integrates extensive “what if” scenario-building tools directly into decision-making work flows. This allows teams to model
potential changes based on up-to-date demand data, choose the
action that results in the highest potential increase in revenue or
margin, then finalize and populate the changes automatically
across the global supply chain.
Infor S&OP is a stand-alone software solution that can be used
independently or integrated with supply chain management systems from Infor or other third-party providers. The solution helps
users more accurately align supply with demand. Work flows
tightly integrate data from throughout the global supply chain,
providing clear visibility into current demand trends, historical
demand levels, and key indicators of potential near-term demand
shifts. Using the data, teams can collectively make proactive decisions that better align production and distribution with the
biggest opportunities for revenue and quickly adjust operations
based on earlier insight into demand variability. (Infor,

Turbo3000D emission-reduction device: The Turbo3000D is
an emission-reduction retrofit device for diesel engines. In addition to reducing emissions, the Turbo3000D increases fuel economy. Drivers should also expect a smoother idle, increased
horsepower, quicker throttle response, and better overall engine
performance.
The Turbo3000D installs easily as an in-line fuel filter, contains
no moving parts, and requires no maintenance. The Turbo3000D
has been installed by numerous Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner,
and Volvo dealers and has been utilized to increase fuel economy on Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, Mack, Mercedes, Caterpillar,
International, and Duramax engines. It does not void a manufacturer’s warranty and is easily retrofitted to both new and old
diesel engines, the company says. (Turbo3000D,

E-Class Mark III printer: Datamax-O’Neil, a manufacturer of
industrial-grade label and receipt printing solutions, has introduced a new 4-inch label thermal desktop printer, the E-Class
Mark III. Available in four distinct models, the E-Class Mark III
has been designed to meet a broad range of customer requirements and applications, including transportation, logistics, and
manufacturing.
The E-Class Mark III features rugged double-walled construction. Fewer moving and longer-lasting parts reduce maintenance
requirements and ensure high reliability. The printer comes
equipped with numerous language emulations and a selection of
connectivity options to make replacement of existing printers or
installation of new printers an easy process.
The E-Class Mark III reduces daily operational costs by minimizing power consumption with its stationary print head design. The
printer uses larger, more economical 300-meter ribbons that
reduce materials costs. In addition, the E-Class Mark III allows users
to print only the number of labels that are required, meaning there
is no wasted media. (Datamax-O’Neil, www.datamax-oneil.com)
