Electronic lock: Rousseau’s new L50 electronic lock is the company’s latest solution for
security management on its Rousseau metal
storage cabinets. The keyless lock has been
designed for use on all “R” and “L” cabinets,
as well as “R” multidrawer cabinets. Existing
locks can be replaced by the L50.
The electronic lock allows users to choose
the security management system that works
best for them. There are various options to
choose from, including master codes, different codes, and identical codes. For example,
managers can create up to 20 different codes
for each user or, conversely, choose to use a

Direct-to-store delivery system: Rehrig
Pacific Co. has introduced a package of products designed to improve the direct-to-store
delivery process. Called the direct-store-de-livery (DSD) GeoSystem (DSD-GS), it consists
of the company’s DSD R40 Electric Lift, the
GS Pallet, the DSD Hydraulic Sled, and Pallet
Wrapz.
The DSD R40 Electric Lift can hold 4,000
pounds but is up to 800 pounds lighter
than other competitive models, the manufacturer says. The unit supports Grocery
Manufacturers Association (GMA) pallets,
beverage pallets, and current DSD system
platforms.
The new GS Pallet is a reusable plastic
pallet made with high-impact resins and
high-pressure injection molding technology.
The DSD Hydraulic Sled is designed for
making deliveries on uneven surfaces, including ramps and high thresholds.
In addition, the DSD-GS supports the use
of Pallet Wrapz, which is an eco-friendly,
reusable alternative to plastic stretch film. It
is made of heavy-duty ventilated and breathable mesh or flame-retardant opaque vinyl
