International Paint has launched
Intertherm 898 CSA, a new product
designed for coating the externals of
pipework in new construction.
Intertherm 898 CSA makes is possible to specify one product from cryogenic service temperatures of -165˚C
(-265˚F) through some of the highest
temperatures pipework is likely to
experience at up to 565˚C (1050˚F). In
one application using standard application equipment, complexity in coating application is reduced and fabrication throughput is improved. This
reduction in coating complexity offers
many benefits including reduction of
costs in terms of factory throughput
and also reduction in selection errors
and reduced work load due to simpli-fication of specification, according to
the company.

OFFERS ATRIUM LATEX PAINT
Krylon Commercial Coatings has
introduced Atrium interior latex
paint, the first Krylon product featuring the Green Cert label. This
interior latex finish has zero VOCs
and low odor properties, making it
safe for use in occupied areas without causing disruption. Atrium is recommended for interior applications
on walls and ceiling of primed plaster, wallboard, wood masonry and
primed metal. It can be used in hospitals, schools, offices and other high
traffic, occupied areas. Atrium is
available in flat, eggshell and semi-gloss finishes.
