Fresh Paint
powder and e-coat products and services.
Industrial CoatingSolutions is part of
DuPont Performance Coatings, which
includes the company’s OEM Automotive and Refinish units.
“Our objective is to make it easier to do
business with DuPont,” said David
Lazzeri, Industrial CoatingSolutions
business director for the Americas. “By
fully integrating our sales and marketing organization, customers will have
easier access to our entire portfolio of
products and services. All of our sales
team members will have the training
and expertise to assess their customers’
needs and recommend the right product
and level of support for each application.
“Efforts to simplify the Industrial
CoatingSolutions structure began
about a year before the economic downturn hit,” said Lazzeri. The slowdown
in business activity associated with the
recession provided an opportunity for
DuPont to study whether the industrial coatings business was properly
structured to serve all of its customers,
large and small.
Key players in the realigned organization are Wade Robinson, sales and marketing manager for North America, and
Alfredo Villalobos, sales and marketing
manager for Latin America. Joe Wood
has been named market segment leader
for the Americas region, and global lead
for agricultural, construction equipment
and heavy-duty truck market segments.
In addition, two product managers have
been named to ensure that the
Industrial CoatingSolutions offering is
accurately matched with customer
needs. Jim Jeziorski will manage the
portfolio of liquid products and Fabiana
Prada will have responsibility for powder coatings.

KELLY-MOORE LAUNCHES
DEALERSHIP PROGRAM
Kelly-Moore Paint Company, Inc., has
introduced a new Kelly-Moore
Dealership Program that allows dealers to leverage the company’s reputation for high-quality products and
personalized service to gain instant
credibility and higher sales volume.
There is no franchise or license fee to
become a Kelly-Moore dealer; dealers
receive a 60-day open charge account
with pre-approved credit.
“Sixty-eight percent of our annual
sales volume is attributed to painting
contactors,” said Mark A. Zielinski, senior director of marketing, and international and dealer sales. “For dealers, this
means they do not have to worry about
the performance of Kelly-Moore’s paint.
In fact, if they are looking to attract professionals to their store, they should
include a brand trusted by painters.”
Kelly-Moore’s entire paint product
line is available to dealers, including
industrial coatings, lacquers, varnish-es and paints. The company’s professional sales representatives understand customer needs and can offer
advice on how to select the paints and
the price-points that fit each dealer’s
market. The program provides related
sundries that can be purchased in customized quantities (only those needed)
to improve inventory turns. Available
in a good/better/best selection, sundries include professional brushes and
covers; caulking and patching materials; masking tape and film; drop cloths
and putty knives; and other items for
smooth completion of each project.
Initial product training is included in
the program to ensure each dealer
receives all of the required sales material and techniques that have been developed for Kelly-Moore’s in-store sales representatives. The training includes basic
to advanced paint studies, application
tools and sundries, as well as proper customer service techniques.
