Honeywell Launches New Resin
for Protective Coating
Honeywell has announced the launch of a new fluoropolymer esin designed for use in protective coating applications for infrastructure and high-value assets.
Honeywell stated that it developed
the resin as a superior alternative to poly-fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) polymers. Honeywell’s product has a unique
polymer structure with higher fluorine
content, which delivers excellent weather and chemical resistance. Moreover,
Honeywell’s fluoropolymers are lower
in viscosity, so customers can use less organic solvents, which enables customers
to comply with tightening regulations for
volatile organic compounds (VOC).
Carbons highlights the uses and benefits of Specialty Carbon Black grades
in applications beyond polymers, coatings, and printing systems. These special applications include agricultural
products, batteries, building materials,
