The 8250 is an intelligent truck and pack
offering, providing
CAN communication
between truck and
lithium-ion battery pack, providing operator

An onboard battery management system
allows the user to schedule charge times, provides notifications when charging is required,
and monitors charging and usage to prevent
overcharging and discharging events. As an
added benefit, the power pack also includes
integrated heaters for superior cold storage
needs and thermal controls that reduce the risk
of damage caused by environmental extremes.
The power pack has been designed to handle
rugged environments and is IP65-sealed and
maintenance-free. In addition, Raymond’s user
interface provides the operator with a visual of
the battery state of charge as well as additional
audible and visual alarms if the battery pack

High-speed palletizer:
Columbia Machine has introduced
the FL6200 high-speed palletizer,
a floor-level unit that combines
robot-like accuracy with the simplicity and load-build quality of a
conventional palletizing solution.
The FL6200 can palletize up
to 120 cases per minute, depending on layer pattern, and can manage standard
and challenging products, including shallow unwrapped trays, shrink pads, and
film-only bundles, the company says.
The FL6200 combines high-speed technology with a contemporary, modular,
and clean-design palletizer that’s designed to be user-friendly, the manufacturer
says. Users can effortlessly create and modify layer patterns, view and export production reports, adjust component speeds and timer settings, and access manuals
and schematics, all through the Product Manager HMI (human machine interface).
The FL6200’s modular construction increases flexibility by allowing features to
be incorporated initially or added as a modification in the future, Columbia says.

End-rider lift truck: Yale Materials Handling Corp. has designed a new
robotic end-rider lift truck with Driven by Balyo technology. The MPE080-VG
robotic lift truck automates a variety of repetitive load transportation tasks, which
can improve labor productivity and free employees to take on more value-added
roles, the company says.
