SHAMROCK NAMES BAILLIE
VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING
Shamrock Technologies has appointed
Richard Baillie to the newly created
position of vice president of marketing.
In his new role, Baillie will primarily
focus on supporting growth initiatives
which capitalize on new products and
markets. He joins Shamrock with 29
years experience in the fluoropolymer
industry where he worked in R&D,
manufacturing leadership, global procurements, sales and marketing, and
business leadership.
HENKEL NAMES RITCHIE
MARKETING DIRECTOR N. AMERICA
Henkel has appointed Steve Ritchie
marketing director of its North
American automotive division. In his
new roles, Ritchie will lead the marketing team in providing strategic and
operational direction for growth and
financial returns in the automotive
industry. In his 11-year career with
Henkel, Ritchie has held management
roles in the company’s marketing and
market development divisions.
ATLAS MATERIAL TESTING
NAMES PRESIDENT AND CEO
Atlas Material Testing Technology has
named Rick Weiler president and chief
executive officer. Weiler joins Atlas
from PerkinElmer Optoelectronics
where he was vice president, general
manager of specialty and commercial
lighting.
KRATON NAMES NEW
CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND COO
Kraton Polymers LLC has appointed
Kevin M. Fogarty president and chief
executive officer. Additionally, David A.
Bradley has been appointed chief operating officer. Fogarty has served as
Kraton’s executive vice president since
June 2005, when he joined Kraton from
Invista S.àr.l., where he served as president for polymers and resins.
Bradley had been vice president of
operations. He joined Kraton in April
2004 as vice president of transformation, bringing Lean Six Sigma to
Kraton’s operations.
TWO NEW HIRES
FROM E.W. KAUFMANN
Bart Lorenzo joins E.W. Kaufmann
Company as general manager. He
comes to the company with 31 years
experience in the paint industry.
Lorenzo was previously employed by
M.A. Bruder and Sons, Inc. in
Philadelphia, PA, where he was
responsible for purchasing raw materials and inventory management for
three manufacturing sites. His
responsibilities at E.W. Kaufmann
include purchasing oversight and
sales liaison.
Dan McManus has joined E.W.
Kaufmann’s sales team. He was previously employed with Finnaren and
Haley Paint Co. for 30 years, where he
last served as director of manufacturing
and industrial sales manager.
MICHELMAN APPOINTS
BLAKE CFO, VP OF FINANCE
Michelman has named Alan Blake CFO
and vice president, finance. Blake will
assume responsibility for all aspects of
the finance and IT departments. In his
new position, Blake will lead the retooling of the company’s IT infrastructure
and financial systems to support and
improve efficiencies in Michelman’s
growing global operations.
SUN CHEMICAL NAMES
LENZ CEO AND PRESIDENT
Sun Chemical has appointed Rudi Lenz
chief executive officer and president.
Lenz assumes leadership of Sun
Chemical after serving as senior vice
president and chief financial officer and
Sun Chemical Board member since
2002. He succeeds David Hill, who
announced his retirement in late 2007.
