Evonik names head of colorants products

Evonik Industries has announced that Matthias Creutz will take over as head of the Colorants Product Line. He will retain his current responsibilities as head of supply chain management and production. Creutz replaces Jochen Rosenau, who is also head of the adhesive resins and colorants business line.

PPG HIRES NEW SALES MANAGER PPG Industries has hired Jay Lickus as regional sales manager for the Southwest U.S. region. His responsibilities include sales growth and support in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California. Lickus joins PPG with more than 25 years experience in the paint industry.

M.F. CACHAT COMPANY NAMES AMY TECHNICAL SALES REP The M.F. Cachat Company, a marketer and distributor of specialty chemical products, has hired Frances Amy as technical sales representative for Northern New Jersey. Amy was previously with Ciba Corp. Coating Effects and Industrial Platform Plastics for 13 years.

R.E. CARROLL ANNOUNCES ORGANIZATION CHANGES R.E.Carroll, a distributor of raw materials, has named R. Emmett Carroll chief executive officer and Robert E. Carroll was promoted to president. Richard DeLange has been named chief financial officer and Dave

EMERALD KALAMA CHEMICAL APPOINTS PRODUCT LINE MANAGER Emerald Kalama Chemical has appointed Shamsi P. Gravel product line manager for its K-Flex Plasticizers. Gravel will be responsible for leading all commercial aspects of the product line, including R&D, sales and support. Prior to joining Emerald, she served The ChemQuest Group as a senior consultant specializing in the coatings, adhesives, resins and polymer industries. She also held various business and technical roles at Bostik-Findley and National Starch. CW
