Sr. Polymer Research Chemist
Charlotte, NC
Will be responsible for leading the design of new, acrylic emulsion
polymer technology for the architectural coatings market. Will
specifically manage projects related to the development of new
technology platforms used to address customers’ performance
requirements and market dynamics in the paint industry. As a project
leader, the Senior Research Chemist will also organize multiple work
streams to meet aggressive time lines.
Position requires a Masters’ or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer
Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years’
industrial experience in the design of acrylic emulsion polymers
for coatings applications. Ability and a proven track record in
completing research projects with aggressive timelines and varying
degrees of complexity are also required. We also seek a self-driven individual with successful implementation of new acrylic
technologies into production. Experience working directly with paint
producers is desired.
