HISTORY

Our roots date back to 1969, when Ray Southwell started Specialty Polymers with a goal to provide high quality, innovative products to the coatings industry. Since then, Specialty Polymers has grown to have multiple manufacturing sites and more than

300 active products.

MULTIPLE MANUFACTURING SITES

With manufacturing sites on both the west and east coast, Specialty Polymers is ideally suited to meet each customer’s needs.

Our company’s Oregon facility has 60,000 square feet of production space on five acres. In South Carolina, our production facility sits on more than 25 acres with 83,000 square feet of production space.

Our strength is the development of innovative polymers. For more than 45 years, we have been on the forefront of polymer development. Our highly skilled polymer and application chemists work in research and development facilities located in Oregon and South Carolina.
