PPG has named Tim Behmlander aerospace general manager for the Americas and Reiner Stamm to succeed him as aerospace general manager
for the Europe, Middle East and Africa
region. Behmlander replaces Dave Morris, who
retires July 1 as aerospace
vice president and general
manager for the Americas
after nearly 50 years in the
aerospace industry.
In their new positions,
Behmlander continues as
a member of PPG’s aerospace leadership team,
and Stamm joins both
the company’s aerospace
and EMEA-region leadership teams.
Behmlander began his
PPG career in 1994 at the
Troy, Michigan, automotive technical center, holding posts in the company’s
automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM)
coatings business before
joining its aerospace business. After serving as regional business manager for the
northeast U.S. and then for the southwest
U.S. and Mexico, he became aerospace
general manager for the EMEA region
and India in 2013
Stamm joined PPG in 2000 as business
manager for the aerospace application
support center in Hamburg, Germany,
and then moved to the company’s automotive OEM coatings business, where he
most recently served as market director
for the north and east EMEA region. He
previously worked for Valspar Corp.
Morris began his career in 1970 at the
John Blair Company in Columbus, Ohio,
becoming its president before moving in
1989 to Products Research Corp., which
later became PRC-DeSoto International.
He joined PPG with the acquisition of
PRC-DeSoto in 1999, was promoted to
aerospace vice president in 2003, and was
named vice president and general manag-
er for the Americas for PPG’s aerospace
business in 2007.
RCMA Hires New Director
of Technical Services
The Roof Coatings Manufacturers
Association (RCMA) has named Tim
McQuillen, a member of the building
products industry for 25 years, as director of Technical Services. In his new role,
McQuillen will function as the technical voice of RCMA, leading efforts on
RCMA technical publications, research
activities, educational outreach and sustainability initiatives.
IGM Resins adds Global
Finance Director
IGM Resins has announced that Bart
Oude Vrielink has joined IGM Resins as
global finance director. He
reports to IGM Resins’ acting CFO Carsten Koblin
and directly manages the
regional controllers in
EMEA, North America,
Asia and South America.
As global finance
Director, Vrielink is responsible for the accounting operations of all
regions to ensure that reported results
comply with generally accepted accounting principles and/or international and
local financial reporting standards. He
also will oversee the annual audit process.
Based in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, he
will travel to all of IGM’s global locations.
Vrielink joined IGM from AkzoNobel,
where he served since 1998 in several
executive finance roles, most recently
as Finance Director for the European
and African Integrated Supply Chain
Organization for Decorative Paints. His
broad experience at AkzoNobel included
plant and sales controlling, global controlling for R&D and working in cross-functional teams.

Over Interim CFO
Responsibilities
CEO Patrick Thomas will assume the role
of interim CFO following the resignation of
Frank H. Lutz. Patrick Thomas has an excellent reputation within the capital markets
based on his long-standing financial and industry expertise, particularly since Covestro’s
successful IPO under his leadership in 2015.
Pilot Chemical Announces
Personnel Changes
Tom Melhorn, plant manager of Pilot
Chemical Company’s Lockland, Ohio facility, retired on May 1, 2017, after 38 years
of service. Melhorn joined Pilot as a quality
control (QC) chemist in 1978 and quickly
worked his way up to plant manager, where
he served for 30 years. Among other milestones, he was instrumental in the development of several key product lines and
upheld a notable safety record, completing
15 years without a lost-time accident.
Jeff Crume has been named Pilot
Chemica’s new regional sales manager
ofr the Northeast where he will oversee
the growth of the products and technology. He replaces Rob Pifer, who moved to
regional sales manager for the Midwest.
Crume will work directly with customer
and distributors.

Group Appoints Director of
Analytics Division
Chemark has appointed Anna Avera
Kiggins director of its Analytics Division.
Kiggins will provide even greater breadth
to CHEMARK’S strong database with the
objective of significantly improving the direction of critical strategic planning for its
clients. Among the many other critical elements to be addressed through Chemark
Analytics, Kiggins analytics work will include VOC (Voice-of-Customer); VOCC
(Voice-of-Customers-Customer); &
VOCOM (Voice-of-Competitors) proprietary program enhancements. CW
