“Wood, architectural, anti-corrosive, auto and smart func- tional coatings” was the theme of the China Coatings and Expo 2017. Held May 23-24 at the Longemont Hotel in
Shanghai, China this event attracted 450 delegates. Hosted by
Ringier Events and Coatings World, the China Coating Summit
featured more than 50 keynote speeches covering industry regulations, trends, advanced technology and market trends presented across five industry sectors.
In addition, more than 60 companies displayed their latest
products and technologies for the coatings industry, as well as
conducting product demonstrations in the exhibition area.
The “7th Green Ink and Printing Technology Conference”
was held jointly with the China Coatings Summit. This event
featured the latest technology and solutions for the ink and
printing industry.

Second Coatings Summit Added for 2017
The Coatings Summit has become one the most respected technology communication platforms in China, the show organizers
said. To meet increased demand a second Coatings Summit has
been added for 2017. China Coatings Summit 2017 – Waterborne
Coatings, Smart Functional Coatings will be September 19-20 at
the Guangzhou Jianguo Hotel in Guangzhou, China.
The Summit will cover topics related to VOC, REACH and
other statutory influences on coatings development; sustainable
