Cameron Joins S-W Aerospace as Consultant
Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has
added Randy Cameron to its management
team. Cameron will act as lead consultant for its expanding OEM qualifications
process and strategic development for its
growing commercial, military and original equipment manufacturing business.
Cameron has more than 25 years of aerospace industry experience. Formerly with
Lockheed Martin, PPG Industries, U.S.
Paint and Mankiewicz Coatings, he is also
founder and president of his own company,
Instrumental Polymer Technologies, LLC (IP
Tech). The latter produces high performance
polyols to help meet tightening EPA regulations within the aviation coatings market.
Trust Chem Names New
Sales Manager
Dan Bolon has joined Trust Chem USA
as sales manager.
He has twenty years
of experience in the
organic pigment and
dispersion industry.
Bolon started his career at Sun Chemical
as a technical sales
representative. He
then joined the PMC
Specialty Group as a
global product manager also taking responsibility for marketing and sales.
The addition of Bolon is in line with
the company’s global strategy to further
strengthen its position in North America.
He will be located in the Midwest area
and responsible for a variety of accounts
in the plastic, ink and coatings field.

(USA) Announces Director
of Operations for Alloy
Products
Edgardo Garcia joins Wall Colmonoy as director of operations for the Alloy Products
Group in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
Garcia will be responsible for process
and lean manufacturing improvements, new
product developments, budgeting and financial performance for reaching departmental
goals. He has an extensive background in
inventory control, materials management,
MRP systems, Lean Manufacturing and
Quality Management ISO 9000.
Micro Powders Makes
Several Executive
Appointments
Micro Powders has made several executive changes. Gary Strauss has assumed
the role of president and COO and Deena
Strauss Kornblau has assumed the role of
CEO and executive
vice president. Both
individuals have
held leadership positions within Micro
Powders for more
than 10 years.
As president and
COO, Strauss will
manage the day-to-day functions of the
company and will
oversee the financial
and operational departments. As CEO,
Strauss Kornblau
will focus her attention on the growth
of the company as well as overseeing the
sales and marketing departments.
Warren Pushaw, the former president
of Micro Powders, will take on a new role
as senior technical advisor. He will now
focus most of his attention on the technology side of the business.

Axalta Coating Systems
Announces New Technical
Service Manager for
Powder Coatings Business
Axalta Powder Coatings (formerly
DuPont Powder Coatings) has appointed
Michael A. Wittenhagen as technical service manager. Wittenhagen brings more
than 20 years of powder coating experience to this position, including 14 years
with DuPont & Herberts-O’Brien and
most recently with The Powder Coating
Institute, based in The Woodlands, TX.
The Technical Service group that
Wittenhagen joins will begin reporting
through the Powder Sales organization
and he will report directly to Joseph
Friesl, North America powder sales effectiveness and business development leader.
Bayer’s Reinstadtler Elected
President of Polyurea
Development Association
Steven Reinstadtler, industrial marketing manager – coatings for construction, Bayer MaterialScience LLC, has
been elected president of the Polyurea
Development Association (PDA). As a
member of the PDA for 12 years, including two years as a member of the board
of directors, Reinstadtler has seen the organization evolve.
Reinstadtler began his career with Bayer,
inventor of polyaspartic technology, in 1989.
Reinstadtler’s current position at Bayer is
focused on understanding the unmet needs
of high-performance coatings, such as polyureas, in the construction, infrastructure,
and architectural and built environments.
He does this by engaging multiple points in
the value chain – including architects, spec
writers, contractors, and facility managers.
Reinstadtler has a technical and marketing
background in both polyurea and polyurethane hybrid thick-film coatings.
In addition to PDA, Reinstadtler is active in the American Coatings Association
(ACA), The Society of Protective Coatings
(SSPC), and Center for the Polyurethanes
Industry (CPI).
He was named a 2011 Clive Hare
Honoree by “JPCL: Journal of Protective
Coatings & Linings.” This recognizes the
distinguished achievements of 24 thought
leaders worldwide who have advanced
the technology of protective and marine
coatings in the past decade. CW
