BASF signed an exclusive distri- bution agreement with Nexeo Solutions for the distribution of
certain Specialty High-Performance
Solvents in the United States and
Canada. Through this exclusive relationship, Nexeo gains access to a BASF
product offering that is well aligned with
its focused markets.
BASF is a leading domestic producer
of specialty high-performance solvent
chemistries including:
• Glycol diethers (or Glymes): a polar,
non-protic solvent used in inks, spe-
cialty coatings, adhesives and clean-
ing compounds
• 1,3-Dioxolane: a solvent or reagent
used to dissolve polar polymers such
as polyesters, epoxies and urethanes
•1,4-Dioxane: a process solvent
mainly used in the manufacture of
active pharmaceutical ingredients
(APIs) and fine chemicals

Green Biologics Signs
Second U.S. Distributor
Green Biologics, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Green Biologics Ltd., a UK industrial biotechnology and renewable
chemicals company, has announced
a distribution agreement with Acme-Hardesty, a division of Jacob Stern &
Sons, Inc. and a U.S. supplier of biobased chemicals.
Allnex to Distribute
Eternal’s ETERMINO Amino
Resins Outside China
As part of the Allnex-Eternal Joint
Venture relationship, Allnex will be
the exclusive distributor of Eternal’s
ETERMINO amino resin grades in markets outside of Greater China. As part of
the distribution agreement, ETERMINO
resin orders and business transactions
outside of Greater China will be managed
by Allnex. ETERMINO resins are used as
curing agents in can, automotive/bicycle,
acid-curing wood, coil and other industrial coating applications.
Vencorex Collaborates with
Safic-Alcan for Aliphatic
Isocyanates Distribution
Vencorex announced the collaboration
with SAFIC ALCAN as its distributor for
Vencorex’ Tolonate and Easaqua product
ranges in the French territory.
Verdezyne Signs
Distribution Agreement
with Connell Bros.
Verdezyne, Inc., a synthetic biology company producing biobased chemicals, and
Connell Bros. Co. LLC (CBC), the largest marketer and distributor of specialty
chemicals in the Asia-Pacific region, announced an agreement for sales and
distribution of Verdezyne’s BIOLON
DDDA (biobased dodecanedioic acid or
“DC12”). BIOLON DDDA will be produced at Verdezyne’s commercial-scale
plant in Malaysia and will be distributed
in 17 countries throughout Asia-Pacific,
including China, Japan and South Korea.
The agreement assures CBC of access to
more than 10 percent of the expected
plant capacity.
TH Hilson Company Sells to
Ravago Chemical
The TH Hilson Company, a specialty
chemical distributor, announced the sale
of the company to Ravago Chemical, a
subsidiary of Ravago Holdings America.
The sale included brand identity, em-
ployee retention as well as trade names,
supplier and customer lists, and all other
information, systems and equipment re-
quired to operate the business.
The business operation will remain as
the TH Hilson Company with no interruption to supplying products to their
customers. Ravago said it is committed
to the people, customers and suppliers of
TH Hilson.
Palmer Holland Expands
Relationship with American
Colors, Inc.
American Colors, Inc. has appointed
Palmer Holland in the southwest and
west territories. This additional coverage gives Palmer Holland a greater area
to sell American Colors’ custom pigment dispersions into a wide variety of
markets including CASE and plastics.
The states affected by this territory expansion include Arizona, Arkansas,
California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas,
Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nevada,
New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas,
Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

New Zealand Distribution
Agreement with Altex
Coatings Ltd.
Flowcrete Australia has entered into a
new distribution agreement to make
its full range of high-performance resin
flooring solutions available across all
of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Collaborating with Altex Coatings Ltd
(a member of the Resene group of companies) will geographically enhance
Flowcrete Australia’s presence in the
construction market throughout these
