; Thermo King Corp., a manufacturer of power and climate-control units for transportation vehicles, has named Dwayne
Cowan auxiliary power unit product manager. Cowan was
most recently a district sales manager for the company.
; Toyota has announced the appointment of Kazue Sasaki to
president of Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
(TIEM), the U.S. manufacturing plant for Toyota lift trucks. In
addition, Sasaki is now president of Toyota Industries of North
America and a director of the Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A.,
Inc. board of directors.
As president of TIEM, Sasaki is responsible for all aspects of
the Columbus, Ind., plant that manufactures the majority of
Toyota lift trucks sold in the United States. Sasaki, who brings
over 20 years of management and engineering experience to
his new position, most recently served as a senior managing
officer of Toyota Industries Corp.
; Diamond Phoenix, a material handling systems design
and integration specialist, has named Charlie Zebell vice
president of systems sales. With more than 18 years’ experience in the material handling industry, Zebell has led major
automated material handling projects across a wide variety
of industries, including the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, automotive, general merchandise, and manufacturing
sectors.
