; Art van Bodegraven has been named practice leader at
S4 Consulting. He will be responsible for relationship management initiatives in the logistics and supply chain management arena. Van Bodegraven is co-author of a regular
column in DC VELOCITY as well as co-author of the book
Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management, published by
DC VELOCITY.
; Daniel Cotti has joined J.P. Morgan Treasury Services as
global trade services executive. Cotti will be responsible for
the day-to-day management of J.P. Morgan’s global trade
business and for setting and executing the global strategy for
trade and supply chain offerings.
; Robert B. Stephens Jr. has been named senior vice president of sales and recruitment at Sunteck Transport Group,
a non-asset based provider of transportation services.
Stephens has over 20 years’ experience in transportation
sales, operations, and brokerage. Prior to joining Sunteck, he
was the senior vice president of Covenant Transport
Solutions Inc.
; Mark Blanchard has been promoted to president and
CEO of New Orleans Cold Storage (NOCS). A 24-year veteran of NOCS, Blanchard started his career as a sales manager
and was subsequently promoted to vice president of sales
and marketing, and later to executive vice president.
Blanchard, who serves on the NOCS board of directors, is
also a member of the executive board of the International
Association of Refrigerated Warehouses.
; Pon Holdings B.V. of the Netherlands has consolidated its
global forklift, aerial lift, and material handling equipment companies into a single company known as Pon Material
Handling. David Turner will serve as chief executive officer of
the new company, which has moved its staff to Houston, Texas,
from locations throughout the United States and Europe.
; Mitsuko (Mich) Mizushima has been named vice president of business development for the San Francisco office of
consultant TranSystems Corp. Mizushima brings experience
in international supply chain management and humanitarian
logistics to her new role.
