THE INNER WORKINGS OF THE FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY
will be revealed at NASSTRAC’s 2010 Logistics Conference, which takes place
April 25–28 in Orlando, Fla. Among the most highly anticipated sessions is a presentation on Wall Street’s impact on transportation—a must-attend in today’s economic environment. Other sessions will feature panels of top shipper, carrier, and
3PL executives as well as financial analysts and academics discussing the latest
developments in trucking, multimodal supply chains, and globalization.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Col. Randall Larsen, U.S. Air Force (ret.), an
internationally known expert on transportation security. The conference also features an exposition of transportation and supply chain services.

There will be plenty of opportunities to learn how some of the country’s largest and most
successful companies run their supply chains at this year’s SCOPE East conference and exhibition. Speakers at the event, slated for April 11–13 in Orlando, Fla., will include DC VELOCITY

Pepsi Bottling Group. Other presenters include vice presidents of logistics, supply chain, and
distribution from such stellar performers as OfficeMax, Newell Rubbermaid, Tiffany & Co.,

This year’s event will be co-located with the Retail Tec East and Consumer Tec East conferences, which means attendees will be able to choose from nine session tracks. Those tracks
include consumer goods, retail, industrial supply chains, third-party logistics and distribution,
product management and innovation, information technology, consumer goods sales and
marketing, multichannel operations, and merchandising.
