It’s a wrap: ID Technology has designed a Wrap Labeling System with an integrated iCON Laser Coder. The system allows a date or lot code to be marked onto a label before the label is applied to a product. It is suitable for products requiring variable information on their labels.

The system uses a Model ST1000 full-featured label applicator with a variable-speed motor that achieves speeds of up to 1,000 inches of label web per minute. The Model ST1000 has a modular, user-friendly design that is suitable for the application of pres-sure-sensitive labels of assorted sizes and shapes.

For coding, the iCON Laser is mounted in-line with the label applicator. Operation is controlled by an integrated touch-screen interface with the option of a remote controller.
