AC power pack: The Portable Power Package from Newcastle
Systems can provide AC power for locations where power may
not be otherwise available, such as the far corner of a warehouse
or on a loading dock.
Newcastle Systems says the Portable Power Package provides
a quiet and convenient
alternative to generators
and extension cords. It
draws on a rechargeable
battery to provide power
for virtually any use.
Housed in a sealed but
fully ventilated steel cabi-
net ( 16 inches by 16 inch-
es by 12 inches), the
Newcastle Systems
Portable Power Package
comes standard with an
inverter, battery status
meter, wire harness, and “smart charger.”
The Portable Power Package is available with four different
battery/inverter/charger configurations — Models PP8, PP12,
PP22, and PP25. The power pack’s run time will vary according
to use. For example, Model PP12 will power a laptop computer
and small printer for eight hours. (Newcastle Systems,
