Ultra-durable cartons: Sealed Air Corp.
has launched its StealthWrap ultra-durable
cartoning solution, a patented micro-layer
opaque cartoning alternative that allows primary package cartons to be protected for
transit without the need for outer boxes or
additional packaging materials.
The company also announced that XPO
Logistics, a provider of transportation and
supply chain solutions, will be the first to
bring this innovative packaging solution to
market in the logistics industry. XPO is deploying Stealth Wrap in several distribution centers
where it fulfills and ships e-commerce orders
for customers.
StealthWrap is a uniquely engineered packaging product that provides security and
protection while eliminating the need for
extra shipping cartons and packing materials. When applied, StealthWrap shrinks and
adheres to the contours of the product,
obscures any markings or identification of the
product inside, and provides a strong, dam-age-resistant covering.
Sealed Air StealthWrap is available in North
America beginning in December 2016, with
global availability in the first quarter of 2017.

introduced the In-Sight VC200 series, a family of multi smart-camera vision systems. The
In-Sight VC200 series brings the proven performance and reliability
of In-Sight vision systems
to multicamera vision
applications.
Traditional multicamera systems use “dumb”
cameras that share the
same processer, resulting
in slower performance
as more cameras are added. The In-Sight
VC200 overcomes these restrictions because
the processing power actually increases with
each additional camera. This improved performance helps keep pace with fast-moving
production lines and also provides the flexibility to solve applications with sequential or
asynchronous inspections.
The In-Sight VC200 includes a fully custom-izable, Web-enabled HMI, providing monitoring and control through password-protect-ed access levels. With the In-Sight VC200,
operators can now view inspections, controls
engineers can modify parameters, and plant
managers can review performance statistics
simultaneously from any iOS-, Android-, or
Windows-based device with a Web browser.

Reach truck: Yale Materials Handling Corp.’s new Yale MR14-25 moving-mast
reach truck series features seven models and five chassis options that can be tailored to meet the demands of most indoor applications.
The heavy-duty mast creates a high level of stability and enables faster put-away
and retrieval times with mast lifting heights of up to 502 inches and mast speeds
of up to 143 feet per minute. The truck offers a maximum travel speed of 8. 7 mph,
allowing operators to decrease travel times. For cold storage applications, the truck
