Rack relabeling solution: Building on its long
history of product innovation, ID Label Inc. has
introduced Eco Beam Renew, a new linerless
version of its Beam Renew warehouse rack
cover-up solution. Eco Beam Renew applies
directly over old or damaged warehouse labels,
making rack relabeling quick and easy. There’s
no need for warehouse workers to spend hours
scraping off old labels or chemically treating
beams prior to relabeling.
Eco Beam Renew is manufactured without a
liner backing to eliminate excess environmental
waste. The solution features a metalized backing that eliminates show-through and ensures
accurate scans from newly applied labels. It
also features an easy-release surface, which will
make any future relabeling projects a breeze,
the company says.
Eco Beam Renew is available in continuous
rolls or with easy-tear perforations. (ID Label,

Tech upgrade for IC forklifts: Toyota Material
Handling has announced upgrades to its line of
internal combustion (IC) forklifts. As of January
2020, the upgraded technology is now included in the company’s core, mid, and large internal combustion forklifts.
The upgrades include a new multifunction
display with more functionality, data-record-ing capability, and data storage, according to
the manufacturer. Where previous IC models
provided basic truck information, the new
trucks come standard with an enhanced display that features advanced diagnostics and
makes password protection available for operator, administrator, and service functions. In
addition, the display offers advanced onboard
technology, including QR code diagnostics and
operations data logs. With a simple camera
scan of a QR code, the diagnostics provide a
quick and easy solution for identifying truck
service and maintenance needs by sending
diagnostic information and operational data
to the user’s mobile device. (Toyota Material

Waste compactor: Epax Systems Inc. has introduced the Ropax Jumbo Rolling Compactor,
which uses a rolling drum with sharp metal teeth
to crush, macerate, tear, rip, and compress waste
in large open-top garbage and waste containers.
The rolling drum, which weighs over two tons to
aid in compaction, is attached to an articulating
boom that moves it from one end of the container
to the other and back again, crushing and compacting waste all along the way.
An intuitive control panel provides the option of manual operation, continuous
operation, or timed operation (up to 30 minutes). Unlike other compactors, the
Ropax Jumbo accepts additional waste even during the compaction process, the
company says.
Ropax compactors require no special site preparation and take up only minimally more space than the container itself. They are suitable for distribution
centers, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities as well as recycling centers
and municipal waste facilities, the manufacturer adds. (Epax Systems Inc., www.
