Clean room hoists and trolleys: Selected
models from the J.D. Neuhaus line of air-op-erated hoists and trolleys are now available
for cleanroom operations and other specialized applications that require hygienic working conditions. These include chemical and
pharmaceutical production establishments,
together with the food and drink industries,
covering all aspects of both handling and manufacture.
With a plating thickness of 25 µm (0.025 millimeters), the
hoists ensure resistance to environmental humidity as well as
providing good general corrosion resistance. The typical component parts of the hoist units that are subject to the nickel-plating
process include the lift/lower motor together with gearbox and
the main centerpiece body. Where the hoist is trolley mounted
for overhead rail operation, the trolley body and both driving

Forkliftable recycling collection cart: The 50P-16S forkliftable
recycling collection cart from recycling product maker ModRoto
now features the company’s sturdy powder-coated metal support base as standard. Delivering the load-bearing strength and
rigidity of steel and the weather resistance of plastic, the powder-coated metal support base safely handles up to 500 pounds
of paper, glass, metal, plastic, and other recyclable materials.
The sturdy support base joins a rugged rotationally molded
plastic bin above with three steel fork tubes below that allow the
entire recycling cart to be raised, moved, rotated 180 degrees,
and dumped by a forklift to minimize manual lifting, bending,
and reaching. The innovative cart is set on six industrial-strength
nonmarking casters arranged in a clever configuration for easy
rolling on and off scales and tailgates when rolled manually.
Developed for recycling processors, scrap haulers, and waste
generators, the 50P-16S recycling cart is Rotomolded using punc-ture-resistant, chemical-resistant, waterproof polyethylene in a
smooth one-piece cart body with high structural strength and
sturdy corners. The 50P-16S is available in a wide variety of colors; available options include custom colors, a lockable cover, and

Real-time tracking software: FourKites, a developer of logistics
visibility software for shippers and 3PLs, and a Gold-level member
of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), now offers its real-time load
tracking platform with Oracle Transportation Management Cloud
(OTM) and Oracle Transportation Management version 6. 3.0 or
higher.
FourKites is integrated with more than 45 ELD/trailer tracking
providers powering the trucking industry. In addition to ELD
(electronic logging device) integrations, FourKites has developed
proprietary smartphone apps and “App-Less” tracking technology using cell tower triangulation for trucks that have not yet
installed an ELD.
FourKites tracks truck locations every 15 minutes; recalculates
ETA using real-time location, traffic, and weather data; and automates arrivals and departures using robust geo-fencing technologies. The solution allows OTM customers to send shipment data
to FourKites and access data generated by FourKites within OTM.
