TECHNICAL SERVICES:
ISP has dedicated technical service centers on four continents – all established to provide the highest standard
of service to our customers. ISP operates a state-of-the-art technical service center at our Wayne, New Jersey,
headquarters and has established regional laboratories
in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Shanghai, China; Girvin, Scotland;
Paris, France; Memmingen, Germany. In an effort to
provide local technical service to our customers, we are
continually adding local technical services and support
centers in each of the regions we serve.
MAJOR PRODUCTS:
•FUNGITROL® Fungicides
•NUOSEPT® Preservatives
•FUNGITROL® 900 series fungicide is a water-based,
formaldehyde-free dispersion of 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl
carbamate (IPBC), which offers highly effective, broad-spectrum protection against degradation, discoloration
and defacement caused by mold, mildew and algae. It is
used primarily as a dry-film anti-mildew protector for
waterborne paints, coatings and stains, as well as
adhesives and printing inks.
•NUOSEPT® 498 preservative is an aqueous dispersion
of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT), a non-metallic,
non-chlorinated, formaldehyde-free biocide. BIT has a
proven performance record as a broad-spectrum
antimicrobial agent. It is recommended for use in
emulsion paints, tape joint compounds, spackling
compounds, aqueous slurries, grouts, caulks and many
other building products and applications.
•PLASTIGUARD®, a series of pelletized products
for vinyl and polyolefins (polyethylene and
polypropylene)
