The Board of Executive Directors of BASF
SE has decided to contribute €300,000 to
relief efforts in the Philippines. With funding from BASF, BASF Stiftung, a charitable
foundation based in Germany, will support
the disaster relief activities of two international agencies, the United Nations World
Food Programme (WFP), and UNICEF,
as immediate aid to victims of Typhoon
Haiyan (also known as Typhoon Yolanda).
The donated funds will be used to
deploy relief measures in the Philippines
such as emergency food supplies, therapeutic food for children, health kits, water, and hygiene kits.
Dr. Martin Brudermüller, vice chairman
of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF
SE and responsible for the Asia Pacific re-

their families. Fortunately, all em-

in the Philippines are safe. We aim to sup-
