Dow Biocides and Angus Chemical
Company will open eight regional customer application centers around the
world by the end of 2006. The new centers, which will provide direct market
and customer focus, will be located in
Dubai, UAE; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Tokyo,
Japan; Guangzhou, China and Pune,
India.
E. T. HORN ACQUIRES
POLYMATRIX INTERNATIONAL
The E. T. Horn Company, a distributor,
supplier and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has acquired Polymatrix
International LLC, a Houston, TX-based distributor of a variety of functional polymers, monomers and additives to the paint, coatings and adhesives industries. Polymatrix will continue operating the business from its
Houston facility. The acquisition significantly expands E.T. Horn’s presence in the southwest states including
Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and
Oklahoma.
