Dematic Multishuttle is a new concept
in automated storage and retrieval that
can achieve rates 3x to 4x higher than
traditional mini-load systems. A scalable
solution for dynamic, high rate, product
sequencing, Dematic Multishuttle is
easily adaptable to existing buildings
and an ideal solution for goods-to-person order fulfillment, mixed case
palletizing, pickface replenishment,
and short term buffer staging.
The Multishuttle’s high throughput
comes from having carrier vehicles
on each level of each aisle in the rack
structure traveling horizontally to access
loads. Vertical lifts at the end of each
aisle deliver loads to input/output
conveyors. Load sequencing occurs as
loads are retrieved in the order required.
The modular carrier vehicles in the
Dematic Multishuttle allow high uptime,
system redundancy, and low power
consumption, translating into reduced
overall order turnaround time for you.
