Belt it out: QC Industries has introduced the
Automation Series AS40 and AS65 low-profile
belt conveyors. Automation Series conveyors feature high-speed belts with a single-piece extruded aluminum frame. They offer tool-less belt
changes for easy maintenance and versatility.
The AS40 end drive conveyors also feature
pivot rotatable drive technology, allowing the drive
to be quickly rotated in the field to many positions
to meet changing application
requirements. AS65 center
drive conveyors have a
below-belt drive that can be
positioned at any point along
the length of the conveyor,
allowing a better fit with integrated machinery.
Automation Series conveyors are designed to
handle speeds of up to 400 feet per minute,
and they can accommodate loads of up to 120
pounds. Widths are available in increments from
2 to 24 inches and lengths from 18 inches to 13
feet for single-piece frames and 14 to 25 feet for
multi-piece frames. The modular design allows
these conveyors to be easily extended or shortened as application requirements change. (QC
