I am pleased to announce the launch of the Material Handling Systems Division of Dearborn Mid-West Company (DMW).

With more than 65 years of conveyor systems expertise, DMW is expanding operations and capabilities with a new division based in central New Jersey. Opened in April 2014, the new division is now fully operational, serving clients in a wide range of material handling applications.

The leadership at DMW recognized and seized an opportunity to expand beyond its conveyor systems manufacturing and integration capabilities in its core Automotive and Bulk Handling markets. With the acquisition of intellectual property—specifically, 24-Volt and GOH (Garment-On-Hanger) conveyor systems —from an established material handling company, DMW began to develop what would ultimately become its Material Handling Systems Division.

The company conducted extensive research to examine market needs and matched those requirements to its core competencies. This in-depth analysis and evaluation led to a focus on turnkey material handling system solutions in three areas: warehouses and distribution centers, post and parcel services, and industrial/manufacturing applications.

Our new division has the benefit of access to the talents and expertise of the engineers, project managers and installation technicians at DMW headquarters.

This helps our New Jersey division function as a “think tank,” operating with enhanced flexibility and creativity that enables us to bring extremely competitive services and pricing to the mid-level market. We pride ourselves on bringing in projects on time and under budget, from conception through integration and installation.

What’s more, we can bring DMW’s expertise as a conveyor systems manufacturer to the table, allowing the Material Handling Systems Division to tailor complex, fully-integrated systems to an individual customer’s needs.
