Balemaster® balers
put more green in your pocket.
If you are not baling your waste now, or if you are baling manually, then
you’re spending too much time handling empty cardboard boxes. Balemaster®
balers can do the work for you. Balemaster® wide-mouth auto-ty balers send
money to your bottom line in many ways. Here are just two:
1. Conventional hand tying takes 7 to 10 minutes per bale. But Balemaster®
auto-ty balers process cardboard waste into a dense bale that is
automatically and securely tied in less than 30 seconds.
2. Balemaster® balers produce bales with the highest density per cubic foot.
So there’s more material per volume than any other baler. This reduces
annual baling wire costs and maximizes recycling revenue per load.
Balemaster® balers are engineered to save energy, improve efficiency, reduce
wire usage, and lower maintenance costs. Being green is good business. But
pocketing green is even better.
Don’t crunch the numbers any other way.
Caster wheels: Hamilton Caster has introduced new casters and wheels designed for
automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and other
continuous-duty applications.
The series features Hamilton’s forged steel
caster construction and HPI swivel technology. HPI was developed years ago in response
to an AGV application and outperforms conventional CNC-machined ball
raceways, kingpin-less, and unit
load bearing swivel constructions, according to Hamilton.
The company’s engineers
chose two of the polyurethane
treads—DuraGlide-AGV and
Ergo-Glide-XT-AGV—for their
easy rolling, quiet operation, and overall durability. Engineers formulated DuraGlide to run
much cooler than most polyurethanes, resulting in a wheel for continuous-duty applications. The Ergo-Glide-XT-AGV is designed to
repel foreign objects/debris and to provide a
softer ride.
For added durability, the wheel cores of the
3-, 4-, and 5-inch-wide wheels were upgraded from cast iron to forged steel. The forged
steel cores feature larger hubs to accommodate larger-sized precision ball bearings
(as well as a greater number of bearings) to
increase the bearing life.
The AGV caster load capacity range begins
at 800 pounds per caster with a max load
rating of 15,400 pounds per caster. Wheel
diameters range from 4 to 16 inches. The
new series is offered in both single-wheel and
dual-wheel styles. (Hamilton Caster & Mfg.

Bar-code inventory management software: Dynamic Systems Inc., a software
developer specializing in bar-code systems for
inventory tracking, has launched a new application that uses bar-code software to manage
inventory and upload the information to any
accounting system. Advanced SIMBA Mobile
records inventory from receiving through
storage and shipping, and has a feature
to count inventory and print a discrepancy
report. The company says this application provides speed and accuracy by using bar-code
software without the high cost of implementing a full warehouse system. It is designed for
businesses of all sizes.
Advanced SIMBA Mobile is a complete
system, including the equipment, training,
and support. It can work in coolers, freezers,
and on the loading dock, providing real-time
inventory information that can be uploaded
to an ERP or accounting system. (Dynamic

Pallet truck: Hyster has introduced its End Rider series lift trucks. Available in
single-, double-, or triple-pallet models with capacities of 6,000 or 8,000 pounds,
the B60ZAC2 and B60-80ZHD2 series trucks are engineered to take on heavy-duty
applications in a multitude of operating conditions, including home centers, food
distribution centers, and food processing facilities.
FeFeatures of the new trucks include an extended operator platform that allows
operators to adjust their stance to provide postural relief, and LED fork and platform lights that allow for optimized task lighting. (Hyster Co., www.hyster.com/
