has unveiled new optimization technology that
helps retailers and distributors make deliveries
the same day an order is taken.
Traditional delivery optimization technologies
were designed with a delivery planning cycle
structured before the day of delivery. Descartes’
new optimization technology, by contrast, is
specifically designed to address same-day delivery.
Descartes’ continuous optimization technology enables dispatchers to receive, automatically
assign, and execute orders throughout the day,
placing pickup or delivery orders on the routes

Using real-time GPS-based fleet statuses,

Information kiosk: Creform Corp. has introduced
a new mobile, four-sided rotating information kiosk
designed to share information such as business
metrics, HR postings, safety information, quality
documents, ISO procedures, or Kanban inventory
control data.
Creform kiosks are designed and built using the
Creform System of plastic-coated steel pipe and
metal joints. This kiosk has 32- by 14-inch panels
that can be easily modified to different sizes. The
panels can also be swapped out should needs
change with different materials such as metal sheets, corkboard, whiteboard, or

Tilt trucks with forklift channels: New models of the Akro-Tilt Truck line are
now equipped with forklift channels for easy transport.
The new forklift channels allow loaded Akro-Tilt Trucks to be lifted, moved, and
