Yard tracking and workflow automation: 4Sight Yard Management software eliminates the need to oversee complex yard trailer movements and other time-sensitive tasks. 4Sight uses RFID and GPS technology to collect location and trailer data. It then provides accurate real-time information to track all yard activity and automate work flows and events.

YMS enhancements: International Business Systems (IBS) has rolled out new capabilities for its Dynaman Yard Management System. The IBS Dynaman Yard Management System is based on a visualization tool that renders a customer’s dock and yard in an easy-to-understand graphical representation. Users can then click on a truck and drag it to its destination, and IBS Dynaman will direct the yard activity.

The new capabilities include a graphical radio-frequency
application for easier yard operator interaction; priority- and
appointment-based movements to/from doors; and automated
and manual shipment-to-trailer assignments.

Dynaman now also includes directed pre-cool logic for reefer shipments, directed and self-directed yard audits that include fuel level and multiple temperature zones, and directed and self-directed trailer movement. In addition, the YMS is now integrated with garage/repair operations.
