GOLEN ARTIST COLORS’
NEW OPEN ACRYLICS

Golden Artist Colors, Inc. has introduced its new Open Acrylics product line With Open Acrylics, Golden delivers better control over the drying time of their paint for artists, according to the company. The relaxed working characteristics and ability to remain wet on the palette for extended painting sessions give Open Acrylics versatility, allowing artists a wider range of techniques to explore, including portraiture, plein air painting and various other applications.

The distinctive performance features of Open Acrylics are built into the product. Without the need to modify their paints with an extensive array of retarders, mediums and additives, or to race to finish their work before the paint dries, artists are brought closer to their work, the company said. If an artist does desire to modify opacity or speed up drying time, Open Acrylics are designed to be a seamless extension of the existing Golden line of acrylics and mediums and may be blended with them to achieve the desired result. In addition, the Open line is supported by just two mediums and one additive.

RUST-OLEUM INTRODUCES
UNIVERSAL SPRAY PAINT

Rust-Oleum has introduced Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint. An all-surface spray paint, Universal features a paint formula that adheres to any interior or exterior surface including wood, metal, plastic, concrete and more. It offers one-coat coverage, so you use less paint, and provides maximum UV protection to resist color fading.

Formulated to stand up to the most extreme applications, Universal’s flexible paint film expands and contracts with changing temperatures to prevent cracking and chipping. Universal’s adhesion is ideal for

painting slick or glossy surfaces, like fiberglass, laminate, vinyl and glass. In addition, Universal offers corrosion resistance and rust preventive protection.

Rust-Oleum Universal is available in a range of high velocity colors, including popular spray paint colors and on-trend finishes for both designer and functional applications. The line includes classic gloss and flat enamel finishes for protection and color presentation; satin enamel finishes for a rich and dynamic decorative look; hammered for a rugged, protective finish; and sparkling metallic finishes that bring surfaces to life and withstand extreme exterior conditions.

HURON’S NEW COMPOSITE MOLD RELEASE COATING Huron Technologies has introduced Mold Release Coating 7575 designed to maintain exceptional details in the compression molding process using vinyl ester resins. The new mold release coating is replacing older, outdated products that were not as effective in capturing mold details. Mold Release Coating 7575 also provides less build-up on the mold surface; less clean up and maintenance; and ease of release during the molding process. The new mold release coating lends itself to molding products that must stand up to harsh, corrosive environments. This includes chemical containers, ball and butterfly valves, wind turbine blades, pump housings, functional building panels and other products that resist corrosion during normal use. Mold Release Coating 7575 is available in five-gallon pails and 55- gallon drums.

LINE-X RENEW SPRAY-ON BEDLINER Line-X Franchise Development Corporation has introduced Line-X ReNew, a truck bedliner enhance-

ment system used to repair any brand of spray-on bedliner and enhance it to the quality of a new Line-X spray-on truck bedliner. Over time spray-on truck bedliners will lose texture due to use. ReNew repairs gouges, brings back texture and protects against UV damage.

With ReNew, customers can get new bedliner results without the hassle required of stripping and reapplication, saving time and money. Patent-pending ReNew is a proprietary surface treatment enhancement process that rejuvenates old bedliners with a chemistry that permanently bonds to any polyurethane and polyurea coating.

NEW LINE OF NON-FLAMMABLE
MOLD RELEASES
