Shepherd Color offers black stir-in pigment
The Shepherd Color Company has
introduced Dynamix Black 30C933, a
pigment black stir-in inorganic color
pigment. Typical applications include
liquid and powder coatings, silicate and
masonry coatings and radiation cured
coatings. Dynamix stir-in pigment technology requires only simple mixing. The
time it takes to reach complete dispersion depends on the intensity of the
mixing equipment, but can be achieved
in as little as five minute. Dynamix is
compatible with solvent- and waterborne coatings systems, as well as 100%
solids systems and UV cured coatings.

AVANSE ST-410 EMULSION
Rohm and Haas has launched an
environmentally-advanced binder,
Avanse ST-410 emulsion, to the
North American coatings market.
This new high-performance, 100%
acrylic, waterborne polymer can be
used for semi-transparent deck and
siding stains. Semi-transparent stains
based on Avanse ST-410 emulsion do
not require coalescent or heavy metal
driers, are easy to apply and enhance
the appearance of new and weathered
wood with a long-lasting finish, according to the company. The combination of
morphology and unique particle stabilization maximizes the flow and lapping characteristics during application, while building early resistance

Energy Science Inc. (ESI) has introduced its latest innovation in electron
beam (EB) processing, the Nitro-Mixer,
a new nitrogen inerting system. The
Nitro-Mixer is designed to provide an
exceptional inerting environment,
while reducing nitrogen consumption

Brookfield Engineering has introduced
the new R/S Plus Rheometer, which features a smaller size water accessory and
direct control of temperature from the
keypad on P1 and P2 cone plate models.
The R/S Plus is designed for rheological
evaluation of materials through the
direct measurement of viscosity, yield
stress, thixotropic response, creep and
other flow properties. It features a temperature control range up to 180˚C,
speed range from 0.1-1,000 rpm and
measurement sensitivity delivering
comprehensive data for modulus and
static yield stress as well as information

Eliokem has introduced Pliotec SA10,
for use in high performance light
industrial metal coatings. This latex
can also be used for concrete and
masonry coatings, general metals and
interior architectural coatings.
Pliotec SA10 is a small particle-sized
acrylic co-polymer with excellent
adhesion on a wide variety of substrates and can be formulated at very
