Technical Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager. Good communication and leadership skills are Essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and service a developed customer base through independent travel, managing distributor relationships.

• Develop new customers through independent travel, managing distributor relationships.

• Maintain and develop the sales process through a computerized customer and prospect database (OnContact)

• Assist in creating a developing an industry knowledge base.

• Manage and interpret customer requirements • Represent the company at trade exhibitions • Meets sales targets • Provide technical presentation • Provide pre-sales technical assistance to customers • Provide customer and distribution training.

• Provide monthly reporting activity • Manage a personal sales budget.

Requirements:

Preferred degree - BS in Chemistry

5+ years in the coating industry…. with working knowledge of Acrylic Emulsion Polymers and/or Polyurethane dispersion being formulated into coatings for the concrete and/or wood.

5+ years in a technical sales role.
