Someone to lean on: LeanLogistics has released LeanSource, the company’s robust
transportation procurement technology, as a stand-alone application. The LeanSource
Procurement App is the first do-it-yourself Web application for transportation procurement to leverage the collaborative, on-demand benefits of software-as-a-service
(SaaS) technology.
LeanLogistics says the powerful yet easy-to-use application offers unsurpassed performance and scalability, allowing shippers to quickly create their own private transportation marketplace for soliciting and contracting rates, capacity, and lanes in a
replicable fashion. (LeanLogistics, www.leanlogistics.com)

Lifting you higher: Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks
introduces its new line of mid-sized internal
combustion (IC) pneumatic-tire forklift trucks.
The vehicles, which are available in both LP gas
and diesel models, are offered in five capacities, ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 pounds.
These trucks are designed for heavy-duty applications, such as lumber, cement, and pipe, and
can stand up to rough surface conditions.
The vehicles feature a standard two-speed
forward and one-speed reverse transmission,
as well as EPA-compliant EnvirO2 engines that
ensure performance across a wide range of
applications. The spacious compartment provides comfort during long shifts. An Engine
Protection System (EPS) helps prevent overheating by automatically reducing RPMs if
engine coolant temperatures get too high.
A variety of other options are available as well,
including ground speed limit, operator comfort
enhancements, air intake pre-cleaner, and wide
load backrests and side shifters. Customized
options include a swing-down LP tank, a full-sus-pension seat, foot directional control, fuel saver
mode, and debris resistance protection.

Other benefits include a higher front opening
and durable construction.
Designed for use in distribution, assembly,
manufacturing, and other supply settings,
ShelfMax bins can be used alone or with Akro-Mils’ open or closed steel shelving, wire shelving, pick racks, and bench racks. The units are
available in red, green, yellow, blue, and white.
