Get a little lift: A&H Engineering and
Manufacturing offers the Shop Lift, an engineered solution to the problem of handling
heavy materials within a confined space. Shop
Lift is an economical, yet rugged ergonomic lifting device that is built to fit through most standard doorways. It can carry a payload of up to
600 pounds and deliver it safely to a machine,
storage rack, pallet, loading bay, or truck. This
compact and powerful device has a gross
weight of 700 pounds and a footprint measuring just 28 inches wide by 72 inches high by
61 inches long.
The unit is driven by a 12V electric-powered
hydraulic pump with built-in battery and charger, so there is none of the odor from propane
tanks and virtually none of the noise usually
associated with conventional forklifts. Shop Lift
features standard 18-inch-long sturdy steel
forks with a 9-inch load center. The forks are
adjustable from 8 to 18 inches wide and can
tilt to 15 degrees. The machine is capable of
elevating a load up to 51 inches off the floor,
with a forward reach-in capacity of 28 inches.

Cool idea: Tippmann Group has introduced
the Quick Freeze Racking Zone (QFR Zone), an
alternative to traditional blast freezing systems.
Unlike a traditional blast freezer, the system
uses open racking in the main freezer portion
of a warehouse, eliminating the need for a
dedicated room for blast freezing.
QFR Zone significantly improves air flow as
it pulls air through the pallet spacers and product, rather than blowing air around the pallets
in a small room. This ensures that all cases are
frozen at the same speed. The improved air
flow also allows the refrigeration system to run
at a higher, more efficient temperature (for
example, - 10 degrees F as opposed to - 30
degrees F) than would be the case in a traditional blast cell. Those 20 degrees of difference can save a user approximately 40 percent on blast freezing-related utilities, according to the company. (Tippmann Group,

Serve and protect: Wildeck presents a new line of Trackgard door track protectors that
resist forklift, hand truck, or heavy cart impact and protect vital overhead door rails
from damage. The Trackgard door track protectors feature a vivid black safety stripe on
a durable bright yellow polyurethane paint finish that both reduces wear and increases visibility.
When properly anchored, these strong structural steel protectors deflect impacts
from both the front and sides with equal resistance. Trackgard units are available from
stock in both 24- and 36-inch heights and are easily installed to provide a safer, more
efficient loading dock environment. (Wildeck Inc., www.wildeck.com)

The new Ryson
High Capacity
Spirals are in
response to our
customers’ need
to go higher and
handle more weight.
High Capacity Spirals
The new Ryson High
Capacity Spirals handle
double the capacity of our
regular spirals and still ships
in one piece. No other spiral
conveyor comes close to
the height and capacity
capabilities of these new
spirals, plus they are faster
and more reliable than any
elevator or lift.
Multiple Entry Spirals
The new Ryson Spirals
can also be configured to
allow loads to enter the
spirals from several different
elevations. A new high speed
induction conveyor provides
controlled spiral entry.
Quality and service come first at Ryson and we are the number one spiral
