; Hytrol Conveyor Co. has appointed
Mitch Johnson director of systems development. Johnson, who comes to Hytrol with
27 years of engineering and sales experience, most recently served as a regional
sales manager for Intelligrated.

; Scott Johnson has been promoted to
vice president of business development at
Clark Material Handling. Johnson has
been with the forklift manufacturer since
1995 in a variety of roles, including Eastern
regional sales manager, aftermarket sales
and marketing manager, director of marketing, and director of dealer services.
; Douglas Stotlar, president and CEO of Con-way Inc., has
assumed the role of interim president of Con-way Freight,
the company’s less-than-truckload division. Stotlar takes
over the role from John Labrie, who has left Con-way.
; Savi Technology has hired William Clark as senior vice
president and chief marketing officer. In this newly created
role, Clark will be responsible for all aspects of branding
and marketing Savi’s Smart Asset Management solutions
and services. Clark comes to Savi from Deltek, an enterprise
management software company.
In addition, William Maggs has joined Savi as chief technology officer and senior vice president of technology operations. Maggs comes to Savi from Palm Inc., where he also
served as chief technology officer.
; Ryder System has announced some changes in its senior leadership. Tony Tegnelia, president of global fleet
management solutions, has retired after more than 33
years with Ryder. Robert Sanchez, the current executive
vice president and chief financial officer, will succeed
Tegnelia as president. Taking the place of Sanchez is Art
Garcia, who most recently served as the company’s senior
vice president and controller.
; Lou Tapper has joined Longistics, a provider of global
logistics solutions that specializes in cold-chain logistical
support and high-security logistics. Tapper will serve as
Longistics’ vice president of global business development.
He brings 18 years of experience to his new position,
including 10 years as district sales manager at FedEx
Services.
; Weber Distribution has hired Dan Gayford as vice president of client solutions, consumer packaged goods.
Gayford comes to Weber from MW Logistics, where he was
director of business development.
; Dawn Yeats has been promoted to controller at Aspen
Logistics. She has been with the company since 2007,
when she was hired as finance manager. Prior to that, she
served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Yeats will work out of
Aspen’s headquarters in Temecula, Calif.
; Ocean World Lines (OWL) has promoted Eric Seamon
to vice president, OWL Asia. He brings over 20 years of
industry experience to this newly created position.
