Colson Caster Hand Truck
Bearing: Colson Caster
Corp., a manufacturer of
standard and custom caster
and wheel products, offers a
new wheel bearing for use in
quiet and clean environments. The new
Hand Truck Bearing is designed for Colson’s
4 and 5 Series Performa Hand Truck Wheels.
The bearings, which are made of carbon steel, provide smooth
and quiet operation. Because they are completely sealed to keep
grease in and debris out, there is no maintenance or lubrication
required. Replacing Colson’s Radial Ball Bearing for Hand Trucks,
the new bearing is sized at a 5/8 inch inner dimension (ID) by 1
3/8 inches outer dimension (OD). (Colson Caster Corp.,

Ceva Logistics’ Saturday Night Expedite service: Ceva Logistics
has added a Saturday Night Expedite service to its Consolidated
Border Truck (CBT) program. The new service offers Saturday deliveries into the United States from Mexico for cargo that must arrive
in the Midwest or Ontario, Canada, by Monday morning.
Saturday Night Expedite is the latest addition to a variety of
services offered through Ceva’s CBT program. The program originally was developed for freight being sent from the
U.S./Mexican border to support just-in-time plants in the
Midwest and Canada.
The Saturday Night Expedite service was designed to answer
new delivery demands, as automotive companies, in particular,
find that if freight is not delivered on time, the plant could face significant production costs. (Ceva Logistics, www.cevalogistics.com)

Ironside RFID tags: Confidex, a supplier of specialty RFID tags,
has expanded its family of high-performance Ironside tags with
two new products. The first, Confidex Ironside Slim, is targeted
to assets with limited tag attachment space. The second, a new
global version of the Confidex Ironside UHF C1G2 RFID tag, is
designed for use in harsh conditions. This tag can withstand the
punishing elements from Southern America to Northern Siberia,
the company says.
Both tags perform at ranges of up to 29 feet and are suitable for
various industrial asset and returnable transit item management
applications, such as tracking train wagons, industrial metal pallets,
and intermediate bulk containers. (Confidex, www.confidex.net)
Agentrics SaaS: Agentrics, a developer of retail and supply chain
software solutions, is launching a new solution suite that enables
a more synchronized supply chain. The solution, which is delivered
on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis, allows retailers and manufacturers to collaborate on the management of their supply chains.
The company says that this capability will lead to more balanced stock levels, better customer service, and a greener and
more sustainable supply chain. Agentrics customers have reduced
out-of-stocks at the retail level by 20 to 50 percent using the platform, according to the company. (Agentrics, www.agentrics.com)
Dura-Dock Series loading dock
lifts: Dura-Dock Series loading
dock lifts from Southworth
Products are designed to transfer
loads quickly and safely from any
truck bed to any dock height (and
vice versa) without ramps or
inclines. Available in 5,000- and
6,000-pound capacities, the dock
lifts feature a corrosion-resistant
galvanized base and legs. For higher capacities (up to 20,000
pounds), galvanized construction is optional. All Southworth
dock lifts work from grade level to a maximum height of 59
inches.
Southworth dock lifts can be installed to accommodate any
dock or loading configuration, whether the truck is parked perpendicular or parallel to the dock. Usually mounted in a concrete
pit so the unit’s lowered platform is at grade level, the lift is particularly useful if the location lacks a dock altogether. A drain in
the base of the lift prevents standing water if the unit is installed
outdoors.
Platform sizes range from 6 by 8 feet to 8 by 12 feet. Lower-capacity models are designed to support loaded hand pallet
trucks, while the higher-capacity models support loaded forklifts.
