High-speed caser: Westfalia’s latest Dual Station Caser provides high-speed case
packing suitable for food and beverage manufacturers.
The Dual Station Caser can load up to 160 units per minute into a regular slotted
case or a display case and can handle jugs and bottles ranging from 59 ounces to
128 ounces in size.
The unit, which has a compact design, is made of all stainless steel. Westfalia says

Electric walkie tug: American
Sales Development LLC (ASD)
now offers an ergonomic electric
walkie tug for moving heavy or
unwieldy loads in a manufacturing or
warehouse environment. With a
capacity of up to 20,000 pounds,
ASD’s tug is a walk-behind wheeled
cart and trailer mover.
The ASD Tug is suitable for companies
developing fork-free environments or using
lean material flow processes, according to the
company.
The unit features an adjustable ergonomic
handle and intuitive controls. No training,
licensing, or certifications are required to
operate the tug.
The tug’s standard receiver unit accommodates many types of hitch attachments,
including a fifth wheel hook, pintle hitch, ball
hitch, tongue-and-pin hitch, paper roller,
push pad, and custom attachments. The ASD
Tug comes standard with variable speed control, horn, high and low speed, belly switch,
adjustable handle, on-board battery charger,
attachment receiver, foam-filled tires, key
switch, neutral throttle brake, and a traction
weight package.
The unit has an internal weight package to
add traction capabilities. The tug has a 36-volt

Heavy-duty vertical carousel: The new
Megamat RS Model 650 Vertical Carousel
from Kardex Remstar is designed to hold
heavy parts. The carousel holds up to 1,433
pounds per carrier with a total unit load of
41,887 pounds.
The Megamat RS 650 is available in widths
of 10. 42 feet to 13 feet, depths of 5. 14 feet
to 5. 62 feet, and heights of 7. 75 feet to
32.85 feet. Carriers can be equipped with
inserts, rollout drawers, intermediate shelves,
partitions, dividers, and specialty holders.
The carousel works on the goods-to-person
concept, presenting stored goods to the operator. With the push of a button, carriers within
the enclosed unit rotate around vertically, delivering stored goods to the operator through
one or more ergonomic access openings.
The Megamat RS Vertical Carousel is available as a free-standing solution or can be
