Balemaster® balers
put more green in your pocket.
If you are not baling your waste now, or if you are baling manually, then
you’re spending too much time handling empty cardboard boxes. Balemaster®
balers can do the work for you. Balemaster® wide-mouth auto-ty balers send
money to your bottom line in many ways. Here are just two:
1. Conventional hand tying takes 7 to 10 minutes per bale. But Balemaster®
auto-ty balers process cardboard waste into a dense bale that is
automatically and securely tied in less than 30 seconds.
2. Balemaster® balers produce bales with the highest density per cubic foot.
So there’s more material per volume than any other baler. This reduces
annual baling wire costs and maximizes recycling revenue per load.
Balemaster® balers are engineered to save energy, improve efficiency, reduce
wire usage, and lower maintenance costs. Being green is good business. But
pocketing green is even better.
Don’t crunch the numbers any other way.
Pallet and conveyor risk assessments:
Intelligrated now offers mechanical and risk
assessments for palletizers, case conveyor, sorters, and pallet conveyor. Backed by
OEM expertise, these assessments proactively
ensure uptime and safety while maintaining,
and often improving, system performance
and longevity, the company says.
Mechanical assessments provide a foundation for effective lifecycle asset management. Knowledgeable Intelligrated assessors
thoroughly inspect the equipment on site
and provide a detailed assessment
report that evaluates equipment
investments and can serve as an annual check
prior to peak season to minimize unplanned
downtime and ensure equipment operates at
full capacity.
Intelligrated also offers certified risk
assessments. Through a partnership with
a third-party safety consultant, Intelligrated
deploys TUV-certified engineers to evaluate equipment according to OSHA, ISO, or
site-specific safety compliance standards.

Vehicle replacement tool: ARI, a global
fleet services provider, has introduced the
ARI Vehicle Replacement Prioritization Tool,
which provides fleet managers with direct
online access to data needed for determining
the best time to replace a vehicle.
This new technology helps companies
gather and analyze data from their fleets to
create a ranked list of which vehicles should
be replaced first. Customizable for each client, the analysis takes into consideration factors important to the operation of each fleet,
prioritizes the replacement needs of the entire
fleet, and recommends an order of replacements that optimizes total cost of ownership.
The ARI Replacement Prioritization Tool
analyzes eight criteria, including age, mileage,
maintenance expenses, and total downtime.
It also accounts for how important a vehicle is to the operation of the company. For
example, critical vehicles like a crane or a specialized work truck without a backup would
be prioritized in the system. It also takes into
consideration the leadtime for replacement
and the availability of like-kind rentals in the
ranking process. (ARI, www.arifleet.com)
Online pricing format: IronPlanet, an online marketplace for selling and buying
used equipment, has unveiled the new allEquip fixed and negotiated pricing format
with Make Offer functionality. With the new functionality, sellers who may have
waited to market their equipment through online and onsite auctions now have a
clear option to set their own prices as well as the flexibility to see what offers might
come, the company says. For buyers, the new allEquip offers a fixed and negotiated
pricing format that takes variability and pricing risk out of the purchase process.
