Maintenance management software:
Intelligrated, a North America-based automated material handling solutions provider,
has introduced its computerized maintenance
management software designed for material
handling systems. Known as the Intelligrated
Reliability Intelligence Solution (IRIS), the software comes with implementation support,
OEM maintenance expertise, and a deep pool
of relevant, reliable data.
IRIS collects and analyzes system data to
help plan and execute an effective preventive
lifecycle maintenance program. The software
can create work orders and daily maintenance
schedules, maintain accurate inventory of spare
parts and automatically place orders for necessary replacements, and improve budgeting,
reporting, and tracking of key performance
indicators. This helps facilitate regulatory compliance, improves lifecycle productivity, and
increases uptime with reduced overtime and

Shipping software: LeanLogistics, a technology company specializing in supply chain
management, has expanded its software-as-a-service program Lean TMS by adding a module
to serve ocean shippers. The new module,
LeanGlobal, is designed to streamline logistics processing to improve performance and
reduce costs. According to the company, it
has improved client productivity by 30 percent
and reduced transportation costs by at least 10
percent on average.
LeanGlobal allows clients to plan and book
full containerload (FCL) ocean moves directly
with the vessel carriers and freight forwarders,
obtain full visibility of FCLs from pickup to
delivery, and ensure compliance with international trade laws, all on one platform with
domestic transportation. LeanGlobal clients
can leverage the drayage management system
to automate the creation of drayage loads
that are synchronized with the associated
ocean booking. Through direct connectivity
with U.S. government systems, the necessary
import and export security filings for international shipping are auto-populated, based on
the data within the TMS, and electronically
filed.
Another feature of LeanGlobal is the utilization of WebSettle for ocean freight audit
and settlement. WebSettle manages accruals,
freight invoices, discrepancy checking, and
freight cost allocation to avoid inaccuracies and

Forklift cooling systems: Keytroller has introduced two
products to keep forklift operators healthy and productive through the summer heat: the Cooltroller Dual Fan
Cooling Forklift Seat Cushion and Cooltroller Double-Headed Operator Cooling Fans.
The Cooltroller Dual Fan Cooling Forklift Seat Cushion is a
16-inch by 16-inch seat with two input fans and heavy-duty
bamboo platelets for dispersing air out. A 5-foot cable ( 12 VDC input only) voltage
converter is required for 24 to 48 VDC vehicles. The seat cushion moves air continuously to cool the driver’s bottom and back. It is easy to install, is sized to fit any
seat, and utilizes a low current draw of 3W, according to the company.
The Cooltroller Double-Headed Operator Cooling Fans are dual adjustable
position fans, where each fan head is independently adjustable both 360 degrees
horizontally and vertically. The cooling fans have an on/off switch device with hi/
lo settings; are easy to install; feature 100-percent pure copper motors; and are
quiet with low-noise designs of less than 45dB. They measure 8 inches high by 3. 5

Lockout guard: The Equipment LockOut Guard from IronGuard Safety minimizes
workplace injury by preventing the use of unsafe and malfunctioning equipment.
The kit, which is designed for lockout of electric and propane forklift connections,
identifies and locks unsafe lift trucks or other material handling equipment until
repairs are made.
