introduced a new line of branded polyurethane
wheels and tires. The new wheels and tires
include Raymond Smoothy premium steer and
drive tires and load wheels, Raymond UltraRide
premium steer and drive tires, and Raymond
preferred steer and drive tires and load wheels.
Ideal for long or high-speed runs with heavy
loads as well as for tight maneuvering, these
wheels and tires can stand up to hard braking
and are resistant to flat spotting. Raymond tires
also have a variety of tread patterns.
For ease of reordering, Raymond wheels and
tires have a unique identification code stamped
into the hub, indicating the part number for

Green ocean freight service: DHL Global
Forwarding has launched a new green service
that allows customers to opt for carbon-efficient ocean transport. The Green Danmar
service, offered through Danmar Lines, DHL’s
own NVOCC (nonvessel-operating common
carrier), enables customers to select a carrier
that is over 5 percent more carbon-efficient
than the industry average to handle their full
container shipments. In addition, they have
the choice to combine this service with DHL’s
offsetting solution and turn their consignment
into a CO2-free shipment.
The newly launched green service can be
selected as an option by customers using
DHL’s Ocean Direct FCL (full containerload)
product. Through a strict vendor management
process, carriers whose carbon efficiency is
at least 5 percent above the industry average
are identified. From the eligible green carriers,
Danmar Lines will choose the one that best fits
the customer’s operational needs at the best

Trailer seal protector: Transport Security Inc.
has introduced its Enforcer Seal Guard Lock
#5950, which is designed to protect trailer seals
from unauthorized removal and tampering
while in transit. The guard lock will accommodate cable, plastic, metal, and bolt seals.
The Enforcer lock is mounted onto the
existing trailer latches and has a self-contained
design. Made from hardened steel and a corro-sion-resistant stainless steel surface, it provides
a high-security barrier, protecting the seal from
physical attacks. The guard lock has the option
of utilizing the Enforcer Abloy high-security

Dock safety system:
Industrial safety specialist Castell has launched
a new version of its
Salvo loading dock
safety system, designed
specifically for customers who have leased
warehouses. The latest
Salvo SML-EI system
requires minimal footprint and installation,
while still providing a
high level of dock safety. The maintenance-free equipment mounts to either the door or post on the
inside of the dock and comes complete with auxiliary contacts in order to connect
with traffic lights or existing power dock levelers. The system can also be configured to allow customers to keep their doors open in the summer and comply with
OSHA 1910.23.
Salvo prevents the accidental drive-away of a vehicle during loading or unloading by interlocking the trailer’s air brakes with the dock door. The Salvo Glad Hand
Lock attaches to the truck’s emergency brake line, ensuring brakes are applied.
Once the Glad Hand Lock is applied, a uniquely coded key is released. The key is
then used to open the dock door to begin loading or unloading the trailer. Only
after the work is completed and the door closed is the key needed to unlock the
Salvo Glad Hand Brake Lock released, making it impossible for the driver to depart
