Attachment-ready trucks: Yale Materials
Handling Corp. has introduced a new line of
attachment-ready trucks. Engineered with a
modified front end, these trucks allow for
Bolzoni Auramo paper roll and bale clamp
attachments to fit on a broad range of
Yale cushion-tire and pneumatic-tire lift truck
models.
The truck-to-clamp interface minimizes
installation inconsistencies and can enhance
attachment performance, according to Yale.
The attachment-ready trucks help assure that
operations consistently use proper hydraulic
hose sizing, hose routing, and hydraulic fittings. This can extend the useful life of the lift
truck and attachment by reducing the risk of
hydraulic and engine overheating, and engine
component stress.
Bolzoni Auramo paper roll and bale clamps
are designed for use in heavy-duty applications like paper and recycling. Controlled
clamp force, customized opening ranges, and
a wide selection of arm lengths and configurations are available to fit unique operational

Training mobile app: Instructional
Technologies Inc. (ITI), a provider of training
solutions for the transportation industry, has
introduced the new Pro-Tread Mobile App.
Available through the Apple App store
and Google Play for Android, the Pro-Tread
Mobile App is designed for drivers and warehouse employees with mobile devices.
The Pro-Tread Mobile App is included free
with Pro-Tread accounts that use the Sentix
platform, ITI’s recently introduced learning
management system (LMS) for scheduling,
tracking, verifying, and managing training.
“With the Pro-Tread Mobile App, carriers
are able to give drivers options for when,
where, and how to complete training,” said
Aaron Purvis, chief technology officer of ITI, in
a statement. “Custom, compulsory, and com-
pany-specific training from ITI can be complet-
ed on mobile devices or on a computer. This
new mobile platform allows employees to
meet training, safety, and compliance needs
with the tools fleets are already providing for
[hours-of-service logging], routing, inventory,
and other fleet management needs.”
With the Pro-Tread Mobile App, there are
no in-app purchases or outside links. Device
settings can prevent using cellular data to
download or stream content, and lessons are
cleared from the device cache upon comple-
tion, freeing up memory space. (Instructional

Runner pallet: Flexcon has improved the design of its heavy-duty 48- by 45-inch
stackable six-runner pallet with lip. The company says this new pallet is 35 percent
stronger than its predecessor, with a dynamic capacity of 3,000 pounds and a static
capacity of 20,000 pounds. In addition, the pallet allows for four-way forklift entry.
Designed for in-house, closed-loop, and export applications, these pallets can
be sanitized with water or steam, making them safe and sanitary for storage and
shipping. The pallets are 100-percent recyclable and can fit 468 to a trailer. (Flexcon
