MATERIAL HANDLING SOLUTIONS
Automated lift truck stacker: The
Raymond Corp. has launched the Raymond
Courier 3030, a next-generation automated lift truck stacker that utilizes Seegrid
vision-guided technology and combines
horizontal transport and vertical pallet lift.
Supporting Raymond’s introduction of intelligent warehouse solutions, the Courier 3030
stacker is designed to automate stacking from pick to delivery locations.
Ideal for handling and transporting
products between connected manufacturing and warehouse facilities, the
Courier 3030 stacker
helps maximize workforce productivity
and drive down labor
costs, the company
says. With a
second-level
vertical reach capability of up to 72 inches and
a weight capacity of 2,500 pounds, the automated stacker is suitable for pickup/dropoff,
end-of-aisle, and end-of-line applications as
well as conveyor picking.
The Courier 3030 stacker is able to transport pallets of different sizes and types. In
addition, the reverse-motion and auto-en-gagement functions optimize workflow and
increase productivity, helping warehouses
work better and more efficiently, according
to the company. (The Raymond Corp., www.

Li-ion–powered pallet trucks: Big
Joe Forklifts has introduced the Joey E33
and WPL44 Li-ion–powered pallet trucks.
With capacities of 3,300 pounds and 4,400
pounds, respectively, these pallet trucks feature quick-change batteries and powerful
permanent magnet drive motors. The WPL44
also comes with an innovative quick-change
control module and control head.
In addition, Big Joe has announced the
availability of its PDX series of custom-built
straddle stackers. This built-to-order line of
high-performance forklifts features four platforms with capacities ranging from 2,000 to
5,000 pounds, according to the company.
Base units can be customized in almost every
aspect, including straddle length, straddle
width, carriage size, carriage type, carriage
width, and mast height. The company says
the PDX trucks are engineered and manufactured in its Wisconsin Dells factory using
nearly 100% U.S.-made components. (Big

Battery management device: Telematics provider Access Control Group has
updated its wireless battery management device, Cell Trac. CellTrac can now collect
meter hours, engine run time, and GPS location data on any internal-combustion
(IC) or electric vehicle (EV) in addition to the battery data CellTrac already collects,
such as voltage, current, and temperature. These updates make it possible for fleet
managers to use one device to manage both electric and fossil-fueled fleets, saving
organizations around $400 per asset after eliminating asset-only telematics systems.
The data CellTrac collects can be reviewed in Access’s business-management
cloud platform, AssetPro 360. (Access Control Group, www.theaccessway.com)
