ELIOKEM RESINS FOR CURE
AND SEAL CONCRETE COATINGS
Eliokem has introduced a new modified solution acrylic for use in high performance cure and seal membranes for
concrete. Pliolite LV15S is a tough
acrylic copolymer that is dissolved in
aromatic 100 and sold in solution. This
modified solution acrylic resin can be
easily formulated with economical solvents. Formulation can be made with
Pliolite LV15S at 25% solids to meet
the requirements of ASTM C1315,
Type 1 Class C testing. The product
was developed for the solvent-based
cure and seal membrane market.
According to Eliokem, coatings formulated with this resin have good chemical resistance, excellent water retention and low viscosity. They can be

physical and chemical resistant properties. These low density products are
manufactured specifically for residential, commercial and industrial projects
where pipe insulation has been specified for energy savings or freeze protection. The system compatible program is
designed to test and monitor ancillary
products to ensure chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold, BlazeMaster

CABINET OVEN FROM GRIEVE
The Grieve Corp. now offers No. 887, a
gas-fired 1000˚F cabinet oven used for
curing metal coatings onto parts. The
oven features an aluminum steel
exterior, Type 304, 2B finish stainless
steel interior, plus inner and outer
door gaskets, which seal against the
door plug and the front face of the
oven. All safety equipment is onboard
as required by IRI, FM and NFPA
